Pulse

Introduction

PulseTM is an iOS (iPhone and iPad) app for remotely managing network elements. It leverages versatility of iOS devices to simplify remote monitoring and management of networking devices. It is based on an industry standard network management protocol called SNMP.

PulseTM is an app that is designed to be highly customizable to meet the needs of our customers. In particular, it is designed to be customized to address the needs of equipment vendors and network operators alike.

Equipment Vendors (OEM)

PulseTM was developed with an objective of helping network equipment vendors offer their own iPhone/iPad app for remotely managing their products. The vendors may brand and deploy their own version of PulseTM app on Apple’s App store for their customers to download.

To this end, PulseTM was designed to be easily adapted to manage vendor specific equipment and to provide vendor specific graphical interface. The app can integrate vendor’s documents, such as manuals, and be customized to access vendor identified online resources.

Network Operators

Because of the highly customizable nature of the PulseTM, the app may also be adapted to serve the needs of network operators to remotely management their heterogeneous networks. The network operator may customize PulseTM to manage any network device that supports SNMP.

Network operator that do not require significant customization can use PulseTM downloaded from Apple’s App store. For operators that require significant customization, the app can be customized to meet the needs of the operator. The operator may re-brand such customized app for wider distribution through the app store.
